Our Objectivity Promise

We will never recommend a worse product because someone paid us more.

Not “we try not to.” Not “we disclose it.” Never. Here is exactly what that means, in terms you can hold us to.

👪

Nothing we wouldn’t give our own family

Students and verified military are free, for life — and they’re the people this industry exploits most easily. They get the same engine and the same honesty as everyone else.

⚖️

Pay never buys a ranking

What an issuer pays us isn’t a tiebreaker or a thumb on the scale — it isn’t in the model at all. Cards are ranked on the dollars they return you, full stop. The highest-paying card can still land at the bottom if it’s wrong for you.

🚫

We don’t sell placement

No issuer can buy position, prominence, a “featured” badge, or preferential display here — at any price. It isn’t a conversation we’re willing to have.

💬

Disclosure in plain dollars

Not buried in a footer. On the same screen as the recommendation, in plain English and in dollars: whether we’re paid for a card, and exactly how much — before you apply.

✂️

We tell you what to cancel

Even when it costs us. If a card in your wallet is quietly losing you money, we say so — and we’ll tell you to downgrade rather than close it, so you keep your credit history.

🛡️

We never sell your data

Your financial information is yours. We do not sell it, and we never will.

📖

We publish the methodology

Our ranking logic is documented openly. You shouldn’t have to trust our marketing — you should be able to audit our reasoning.

The test we hold ourselves to

If a recommendation would look different when nobody was paying us, it isn’t a recommendation — it’s an advertisement.

We don’t ship advertisements.

Trust first. Revenue second.

That isn’t a slogan we wrote for this page. It’s the order we build in — the honest audit of your wallet shipped before we ever earned a dollar recommending a card. It’s the order we’ll keep, even when reversing it would pay better.
